Today's I share my experience about Vijay Vilas Palaces... I guess everyone love to visit palaces similarly I am also.

Vijay vilas palace is most attractive and best palace for their architecture in India. it is one of the most beautiful place of Gujarat in the India.  Interesting thing of this palace is that, palace have very less damage due to changing of the surrounding environment of the palace. There has been no loss of any beauty of that palace. It is the best example for the slight touch of modern architecture  of the India.

After 100 years ago, the palace is in the same shape and famous as historical place.

Location of Vijay Vilas Palace:

Vijaya Vilas Palace is the located on sea beach of mandvi in kutch, Gujarat, India which is the famous in the summer palace of jadeja maharao of kutch.

Distance from the mandvi bus stop : 8 KM

How to go :

By Airports :- Bhuj, Rudra Mata .

By train : The nearest railway stations - Bhuj and Dwarka 50 KM from Mandvi.(Bus/Cab)

By road :  8 KM from the Mandvi Bus Stand. (Auto/Cab)

History of Vijay Vilas Palace:

That palace was constructing Maharao Shri Khengarji III for his son Yuvraj Shri Vijayaraji and his kingdom during his reign. After the name of that palace had taken from the Yuvraj Shri Vijayaraji as Vijay Vilas Palace.

 construction of palace started  1920
 construction of palace completed  1929
  architecture and plan of the palace  is largely based  palaces of Orchha and Datia.
 palace is built using  red sandstone.

Architecture of palace:

Most visit element in the palace are Pillar in the palace, Windows with colored glass , Carved stone jalis ,Bastions at the  corners, Extended porch ,  Jharokas, Chhatris,  and many other artistic stone carvings, and door panels etc.which all have been done by the architect and craftsman where from different places like Jaipur, Rajasthan, Bengal and Saurashtra, and local Kutchi artisan people therefor it is the mixture of the different different design and architectural. In the middle of the garden ,there is marble fountains. On the top view looks surrounding area.

Note: After earthquake, that palace is converted into museum for the visitor.

Daraga 

At some distance, daraga which located at the top. On that point , palace seen like green trees and at  the centre vijay vilas  and beach.


Beach

That palace have private beach . 
Entry fee for beach is 300 per person.
We are enjoying the waves of water in the beach..and spend time with enjoying the sunset.
